Award-winning actor, screenwriter, director, and lead vocalist for Paul Revere and the Raiders from 2008–2019, Darren Dowler has been called “One of the Most Multi-Talented Performers in Showbusiness Today” (In Focus Magazine, Craig Soldinger, Editor in Chief).

Dowler has won awards as a musician, vocalist, screenwriter, actor, director, and producer. Born in Indiana and raised in Florida, he now resides in the St Louis area. He has performed in concert around most of the world, acted in television series, film, and on Broadway, and authored the novel The War of Angels (Author House Books). He wrote, directed, and starred in Rock and Roll the Movie (2013) and Christmas in Hollywood (2013), and starred in and directed the feature film Grace of the Father.

Darren is currently touring with jay and The Americans   a popular American rock and pop group from the 1960s, best known for hits like 'Cara Mia,' 'Come a Little Bit Closer,' and 'This Magic Moment,' blending rock, pop, and vocal harmonies that defined their era.  He has also performed alongside legendary names including Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Righteous Brothers (Bill Medley), The Lettermen, The Jordanaires, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, and many more. He is an inductee in the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
